How to Set Up the DeepSeek API Key

This article will guide you through the process of connecting your DeepSeek account with AI Content Labs.

Step 1: Access Your DeepSeek Account

Go to the DeepSeek homepage: https://www.deepseek.com/. If you don’t have an account, create one. This step is necessary to obtain your API key, which you’ll use in the following steps.

Step 2: Get Your DeepSeek API Key

1. Once inside DeepSeek, select “Access API”.
2. In the left sidebar, click on “API Keys“.
3. Click the “Create new API Key” button.
4. In the pop-up window, optionally assign a name to your key. This will help you identify the key later if you need to manage multiple keys.
5. Click “Create API key”.
6. Copy the displayed API key. Important: Save this key securely, as you won’t be able to view it again. We recommend storing it in a secure, accessible location, as you’ll need it in the next step.

Step 3: Enter the API Key in AI Content Labs

1. Log in to your AI Content Labs account: app.aicontentlabs.com/.
2. In the left menu, select “Set Up API Keys”.
3. Locate the DeepSeek card and click “Connect”.
4. Paste the API key you copied into the corresponding field.
5. Click “Save”.
