How to Set Up the Mistral AI API Key

This article will guide you through the process of connecting Mistral AI with AI Content Labs.

Step 1: Access Your Mistral AI Account

Go to https://auth.mistral.ai/ui/registration. If you already have an account, log in. Otherwise, create an account by following the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: Get Your Mistral AI API Key

1. Go to the API Keys section: https://console.mistral.ai/api-keys/.
2. Click on “Create new key”.
3. In the pop-up window, assign a recognizable name to your key (this will help you identify it later).
4. Click on “Create key”.
5. Copy the displayed API key. Important: This key will only be shown once, so make sure to save it in a secure place. The key may take a few minutes to become active.

Step 3: Enter the API Key in AI Content Labs

1. Log in to your AI Content Labs account: https://app.aicontentlabs.com.
2. Click on the user menu at the bottom left of the screen.
3. Select “Set Up API Keys”.
4. Locate the Mistral AI card.
5. Paste the API key you copied into the corresponding field.
6. Click “Save”. You will receive an error message if the key is incorrect.
