How to Set Up the OpenAI API Key

This article will guide you through connecting your OpenAI account with AI Content Labs.

Step 1: Access Your OpenAI Account

Go to the OpenAI login page: https://platform.openai.com/login. If you don’t have an account, you can create one at https://platform.openai.com/signup.

Step 2: Get Your OpenAI API Key

1. Navigate to the API Keys section: https://platform.openai.com/api-keys.
2. Click on “Create new secret key”.
3. In the pop-up window, you can assign a name to your key (optional) and select the project it will belong to.
4. Click on “Create secret key”.
5. Copy the displayed API key. Important: Save this key securely as you won’t be able to view it again.

Step 3: Enter the API Key in AI Content Labs

1. Log in to your AI Content Labs account: https://app.aicontentlabs.com.
2. In the user menu (bottom-left), select “Set Up API Keys”.
3. Locate the OpenAI card and click on “Connect”.
4. Paste the API key you copied into the corresponding field.
5. Click on “Save”.
