How to Set Up the OpenRouter API key

This article will guide you through the process of connecting your OpenRouter account with AI Content Labs.

Step 1: Log in to your OpenRouter account

Go to the OpenRouter login page: https://openrouter.ai/. If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one using the same link.

Step 2: Get your OpenRouter API key

  1. Go to the API keys section: https://openrouter.ai/settings/keys. To do so, click on your avatar in the top-right corner and select “Keys” in the dropdown menu.
  2. Click on «Create Key».
  3. In the popup window, you can assign a name to your key.
  4. Click on «Create».
  5. Copy the API key displayed. Important: Save this key securely as you won’t be able to see it again.

Step 3: Enter the API key in AI Content Labs

  1. Log in to your AI Content Labs account: https://app.aicontentlabs.com.
  2. In the user menu (bottom left), select «Set Up API Keys».
  3. Find the OpenRouter card and click on «Connect».
  4. Paste the API key you copied into the corresponding field.
  5. Click on «Save».
